Maybelline Baby Lips Review!

Today I cannot contain my excitement purely because Maybelline Baby Lips have arrived to the UK! So as soon as could I ordered some!

The first colour I got and my favourite, is Cherry Me and I'm in love with everything about this. I didn't want lipstick as I don't like wearing it and this one is tinted and now I have that instead of having plain lips. Also the smell, oh my goodness I just can't. It does actually smell like cherry (well done Rebecca) or some kind of sweet berry and I recommend this so much! Also it is a bit sheer but still quite pigmented at the same time and it sometimes looks shimmery, and its a good moisturiser without being greasy. Overall i want to marry it.

Next I got Hydrate, this one doesn't have any colour it's just a plain one but I still love it. It has a slightly sweet scent which is nice, and it's really moisturising. It gives your lips a nice shine and is just nice if you don't want to wear colour.

Then the last colour I got is Peach Kiss and I've never tried anything with a orange or peachy colour so I thought why not as its a sheer colour so it's subtle. I really like this and it has a slight glow/shimmer in it which I like but isn't to orange or crazy for me. It is a nice subtle peachy coral colour. Like the first one I can't describe how much I love the smell of it, it's like sweet fruity paradise it's amazing and I just love them all!

So I really like these and probably will end up getting all of them, I really hope they bring more out so I can be even more addicted haha. Also these were £2.99 and I got my from Boots (here) and I think that's a really good price. I've heard all of this collection (not the Electra collection which I love too) have SPF 20 and the packaging is small and so cute to throw in a bag or something.

5 Favourite Shops!

Hello! Before I start rambling I thought I'd say that I've finally finished school for summer and although I love some of my lessons I've just been so tired lately from it and I'm ready for a break. Also that means more time for me to relax and focus on what I want to do, blogging.

Anyway lets jump right into it. So my post today is a list of My 5 Favourite Shops and although I have other online shops or websites with lots of brands on here are a few I love. (Also I will link the websites after each one).

1) Topshop
I love Topshop for many reasons, most of there clothes are a sensible price even though some argue its expensive you are paying for good quality clothes. I have many items from topshop and being tiny myself love the petite section. They always come out with amazing clothes and set new standards for trends and they also have really good accessories and presents! (link)

2) Forever 21

Secondly I really like Forever 21 and I have known about it for a little bit since watching a lot of beauty gurus who come from America and know that there are a lot of shops over there and not as many in the Uk. But I have to travel a little bit to get to one but it's worth it i love the prices in there all the clothes I have haven't broke or anything and I love the styles in there and the small size fits me pretty well. (link)

3) Hollister

Next up is Hollister, the clothes are a little pricey but I mainly have a splurge every now and then for a treat. I love the clothes in there are they seem to suit me and a lot of people really well. I can't not mention the shop haha, even going in makes me happy because it smells amazing and I want to live in the shop because its so beautiful and makes me jealous! (link)

4) Miss Selfridge

I've only really been buying from this shop this year and went a bit crazy. I think there range is amazing and they do sizes small enough for me woo! But I have bought so many many summer clothes from them this year like jumpsuits/playsuits, skirts, skinny thin jeans etc. (link)

5) Primarni (mainly known as Primark)

Finally last but not least is Primark, how could I not put primark on my list. A lot of people love it for it's prices but say some things break and it's only recently I've really liked it. Some of the things in there are very cheap but some things like socks, basic tees and leggings are amazing! I really wanted some basics for my wardrobe and they are still going well and even cheaper rucksacks haven't broke on me so who knows! (link)

They are a few I used but I have an addiction with others and I am using a few more like H&M and River Island now that I'm slightly bigger but of course I still shop online a lot and it's bad how much I enjoy shopping haha but oh we'll!

DIY - Fishtail Bracelet

As you can see from the title today I'm going to teach you how to make a fishtail bracelet. This will be my first ever DIY so I don't know how it'll turn out or how clear it'll be but I hope it's ok. I feel like this is a really simple bracelet to make because it's not forward knots and backwards knots and it takes very little time it isn't really quick but once you get the hand of it, it's very simple.

So here is the finished product. I did mine very random and used a lot of different colours. I used exactly 8 threads which you then fold over so you have 2 of each so here goes the tutorial!

Step 1: Select which colours you going to use, are you doing an ombré effect, random or all similar. For showing this I chose 4 colours. Light blue, Blue, Light purple and Purple and these are just normal thread that can be found in shops I got mine from Hobbycraft in the UK.

Step 2: Prepare your colours by measuring them each to around 40 inches, you'll need this because you will be folding it in half. Do this to all of your colours by using your first one as a guide. They don't have to be too perfect!

Step 3: Fold them in half and tie a knot leaving a small loop at the top. You will have one of each colour on either side. Then put a pin through the loop and attach it to a pillow to work on or I just cellotape over the loop to work on. You should have something like this.

Step 4: Now we get started so basically if you know how to do a fishtail then go ahead and start. I shall explain a fish tail and how to do it now and try to include photos if I can. So firstly you can arrange your string so that you do Light Blue, Blue, Light purple, Purple or you can arrange them however but either way you do it. Start on the right and take the outmost string and cross it over to the middle on the left. For the picture I showed of the finished product I didn't set my string out in order and I'm going to do the same as I like that look. In the other one I used a lot of colours so it was thicker but these bracelet are very thin so watch that.

Don't forget that every time you bring a thread to the centre to pull it tight and keep hold of it. Don't pull it too right or the thread will gather underneath but just so it stays in place until you've done a few more.

Step 4: now just continue to cross the outside thread over to the centre on the opposite side until you have a length that slightly smaller than your wrist, this is because the loop adds more length so you'll want it shorter unless you prefer bracelets to be looser and then do a knot at that length.

Step 5: them I after I've knotted it I like to put it around my wrist and thread the knot through the loop and see if it's in the right place

Step 6: Finally I knot it at the place I want it and cut the excess threads off and there you have it a pretty simple (once you get the hang of it!) bracelet that look perfect to stack or accessorise with!

So here's the finish product and I just paired my creations with two of my bracelets and they just add to an outfit and I love the fact that for little expense and a bit of work it looks so good!

So it's finished I know it might not be the clearest tutorial but it's my first attempt and it took a lot of work but I had a good time making it to I might make some more but not everyday! Maybe every week who knows!

Flower Crowns

Lately I've really been wanting a flower crown and I've seen tons of people wearing them, I do have a small one with less flowers that sits on top of your head. But some are like headbands and the flowers look so girly and nice to just put in whenever especially summer!

There is no wrong flower crown because there must be every colour flower out there and if you don't like any make your own! There are endless tutorials and you can personalise it to fit you and match your style so you could even add diamonds, pearls, studs anything! Here are a few of my favourites.

1)I really love this crown as it isn't an oversized one but it stands out a bit and it's my favourite colour and I love roses! Also I like that this is stretchy and it's on a plaited leather band so it'd look so cute when your wearing it and this costs £4.50 it's from Forever 21 and it also come sin a really nice rose pink.

2)I really love this one from Topshop again it's blue but I do love creams and reds and pinks too! I think this ones really unique as it ties with ribbon at the back and reminds me of Alice in Wonderland or something! I also like the tulle material underneath it adds to it's look.

3)My 3rd favourite is this one from Hollister which is priced at around £19.00 even though there are some really nice ones from primark that are cheaper but really nice. I also really like the bright pink colour as it's so summery and bright.

Jeffrey Campbell Litas

Today I thought I'd do I post on some shoes because I'm addicted to shoes even though I've had a massive clear out. Also I haven't blogged in 2 days because I was really down and I wanted to blog but I just wasn't in the mood to so I didn't but it's not like anybody is relying on me!

Anyway into the proper post. For a while now I've been falling in love with Jeffrey Campbell shoes especially the Litas because they just seem to be easier to style and I would get some Litas first. The shoes are quite high and are known for that and their platform at the front and apparently the Litas are very comfortable to wear. I do not have a pair as I have tiny feet even though they do smaller sizes, but in the future I shall have to see if I like them and they suit me I hope they do!

The price tag is quite expensive but they are so popular and such good quality that I will have to save up and purchase some in the future. There are tons of designs, not only the material but the heel or wedge etc. So here's a few photos if you've never heard or seen them before.

I really like this style because its quite subtle and I do like colour but it's quite neutral and it looks like suede which is a nice material. I love the laces on every single pair and the heels don't look to outrageous and the boot shape for your foot is perfect.

Next I really like this pair because of the shape and heels etc. But also because of the colour being so bright and it's also my favourite colour. I would wear this with plain jeans, shorts or leggings so the heels are the main pop of colour. The leather look makes this one sleeker but I still love it just as much.

Lastly my other favourite Lita even though I have so many more is this one because I think it's quite a feminine look still but because of the black leather and boot shape too, then the studs on the back give it a really edgy look which I am in love with. I've seen these being paired with denim and lace so it's contrasting and I would wear lots of different variations with them and that's why I love these shoes as they work with so many items. Also you can get different colour studs which would all look amazing because this shoe is just too stunning.

There are many more types of this shoe so instead of the thicker heel there are wedges etc. which are all just as amazing and some designs are simple leather or suede and some are really imaginative and dynamic and look amazing on most people if they are confident to wear them. And if I had a pair of these beautiful shoes I wouldn't care what people think of me in them!

I made a quick collage with it it's not very  tidy but I just wanted a quick one to show how the shoes have different heels on them some transparent and ombré. Some are even heelless and look like an illusion which is very clever. I also really like some of the T-bar ones as they make them look quite feminine and instead of a boot lace up it's a simple T-bar. I like them because there not insanely crazy but there quite out of the ordinary but easy to wear and some are really subtle and simple.

I keep repeating myself but I am just in love with these shoes and I just can't get it a across and hopefully in the future I will be able to buy a pair for myself!

Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream

Today I have decided to do a post on this Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream because I know a lot of people struggle finding the perfect moisturiser.
This may not suit everybody but I found that its the best one for me and a lot of other people I know use it too.

As you can see in the photo I have a lot of it. Firstly I bought the small 200ml tub and then I wanted one to slip into my bag  if I was travelling or something. You can get a bigger tub but I've used my 200ml tub tons of times and it's like it keeps getting fuller! And if your on the go I recommend a tube of it as its easier to put on when your not a home or somewhere similar.

For a while I had been using E45 cream because in the winter my skin got really dry and my hands would be sore because they were that dry. I used E45 every day and it helped but the next day it'd be dry again. Luckily now it's summer so my skin is much better and when winter comes I will be able to keep my skin nice and moisturised! Also the formula of the E45 was quite runny however the Nivea cream is slightly thicker I don't mean like butter but for me it's the perfect consistency.

I only need a small part for my face and I dot it around my face especially on my cheeks then rub it in and sometimes do my neck and body. As soon as I've put it on I can feel a different it feels really refreshing and gentle to wear and not sticky. After your hands may feel greasy but there not its just cream on them and if they are just rinse them and your done but mine never really do but I moisturise them.

There are lots of other Nivea creams out their that I haven't tried but this just seems to be perfect for me and makes my skin so soft. Also it has a really nice smell it isn't strong at all. It has a slight  smell but it's subtle and is amazing but then again I love the smell of it and don't think anyone couldn't because it is only scented a little bit.

Here's the back of the tube with all the ingredients and all those usual details!

And I thought is just show you the cream inside the tub because why not. I just think overall it's a really nice cream to use and it wasn't very expensive the tub was about £4.50 which may be expensive for cream but it's so worth it and it lasts forever, I'm serious. And the tube was about £3.00 I think but I'm not sure and I bought mine from Boots.

Maybelline Baby Lips

Ok, so I thought I'd make a post about Maybelline Baby Lips. I don't actually wear any make-up myself which is shocking but if I wear any its only mascara. I know some peoples quick make-up is lips and eyes so I have one half, however I only really wear lip balms or scrubs on my lips and never wear lipstick because some of it bleeds and I sometimes I just don't like it on my lips or look like an idiot with it on.

When I found out about Maybelline Baby Lips I thought they were perfect for me because sometimes I want more than just plain lip balms but not lipstick so when I found out they were tinted lip balms I had to get some. Only problem then was that they are only on sale in America and even though you can get them shipped or from the Maybelline website its still much more expensive and easier just to go into a shop.

But recently Boots have announced that Baby Lips are coming to the UK which made me so happy so as soon as they come out I will be trying some of them every single one of them. Also I prefer slightly more subtle colour such as nudes, browns, bronze and some shimmers but I still love colour I just don't think I could pull bright make up off so I thought going for tinted lips might be better for me.

I just generally cant wait to try them I hope they are how everyone says they are and I hope they suit me. Who knows I may do a review once I have some?

Introduction

I don't really know how to start this off but welcome to my blog. I've been wanting to start a blog for nearly a year now but the only thing stopping me was the name, yes the name. I do like the name now but I just wish I didn't sound like I'm going to murder someone and wish I found the perfect one so who knows I'll probably change it again. I have a few ideas I think which hopefully aren't boring but I'm so excited to be fashion blogging and style blogging. I cant decide which one so I'm doing loads of fashion or beauty related products.

Hopefully you will like them if anyone actually reads them or I could just be forever alone but I don't yet know how to properly post so meh. I'm not expecting too much^-^!

Thank you!
